Monday-Friday | 1 -3 PM
This class will teach the fundamentals of sports statistics as evaluators of efficiency and performance. We’ll experiment with visualization techniques and learn how the implementation of stats has evolved over time. Class will culminate with competitive simulations to see who has what it takes to build the best data-driven team on a budget. While primarily focusing on baseball, the class will touch on other pro sports as well, so students should have an interest in baseball and other team sports.

All of our summer workshops are offered in partnership with University of Utah Youth Education and all summer workshop registration is handled directly through their website.
